The Dempsey family is well known in central Texas for exceptional stonework. Brady’s father, Marlin Dempsey has been creating remarkable projects in the area since the 1960s, teaching Brady the trade from an early age. Now in his 80s, Marlin continues to advise on jobs, serving as a valuable resource in stone and fireplace construction.
Brady and his son Asa are now the primary stone masons. While the differences between top quality and substandard work may not always be obvious to the untrained eye, they are significant. We prioritize technical excellence and exceed expectations in style and appearance, with our quality becoming more apparent over time.

We specialize in full masonry fireplaces that are impressive centerpieces of any home. We can also give more routine projects like home exteriors, retaining walls, entrances, and mailboxes that extra level of splash that makes them stand out. We match and repair historic stonework on old structures as well. Stonemasonry is hard work, but we enjoy it a lot, and we think that makes us better at it.
